In the narrows between Long Island Sound and Block Island Sound, the water movement is very rapid except for 5 minutes twice each day when the tide changes direction. Oh, yes, this is one of the ones that is haunted!!

On Long Island, this one is styled similarly to Great Captains, Plum Island, Sheffield Island, and Morgan Point.

Often claimed as a CT light, this reef stands off the mouth of the Mystic River and Morgan Point

As of late, this light has been in the news being up for sale.

Well known, this one sits on the eastern-most point of Long Island

Privately owned, and no longer functional, North Dumpling is in the same area as Latimer Reef and the Mystic River.

This light is a common and comforting sight on the ferry trips to Sag Harbor.
